Cameron Stiff
About me
Cameron was Challenge Your World’s social conscience at the beginning. His role was to develop, guide, and drive the company’s sustainability initiatives. Social and political activism has been a lifetime commitment for Cameron. He’s translated that commitment into anti-oppression education. He’s launched fair trade and sustainability programs. He’s completed a greenhouse gas emissions inventory at a major Canadian university. He’s been active in the Sierra Youth Coalition and played a key role in organizing the 2005 Montreal March for the Climate, and facilitated youth involvement in the UN Climate Change Conferences in Montreal in 2005 and Nairobi in 2006. He was also a steering committee member for Energy Action for two years, and helped develop the Campus Climate Challenge. Cameron is the founder of Greening Duluth, a community environmental organization in his neighbourhood, the Plateau Mont-Royal.
