Challenge Your World Ignites Montreal!

As part of Global Ignite Week (March 1-5, 2010), Challenge Your World will be part of an evening of networking, information, and fun, encapsulated in the Ignite motto: "Enlighten us, but make it quick."
In the tradition of Pecha Kucha Nights, it's a rapid-fire, high-energy series of talks by people who have an idea—and the guts to get onstage and share it with the audience. Presenters get 20 slides and five minutes to make their point. Fast-paced, thought-provoking, social, local, global—Ignite is all of these and more.

NFB: GDP Partnership

The National Film Board has been telling stories that reflect Canada back to Canadians for seven decades now. With "GDP - Measuring the human side of the Canadian economic crisis", the NFB is running the country’s first bilingual web documentary, a pan-Canadian project that bears witness to the far-reaching effects of the crisis in our lives and communities.
Challenge Your World is collaborating with the GDP webdoc for the duration of the GDP production (planned until end of August 2010) in order to document and show how entrepreneurs reinvent themselves.

L'Office national du film du Canada s'est engagé dans une aventure multimédia inédite et exaltante en mettant en œuvre dès la fin septembre 2009 « PIB - L'indice humain de la crise économique canadienne », un tout premier documentaire web pancanadien bilingue, qui témoigne des effets à long terme de la crise sur la vie des Canadiens et des Canadiennes.

In Copenhagen today, and for the next 2 weeks, all countries join an international conference to begin to consider what can be done to reduce global warming and to cope with the inevitable temperature increases. It's also time for everyone to think about what they can do for the planet.
At our Rendez-Vous 09, Nov. 19th, 2009, we ask some attendees what they will do to challenge the world. Here's two short clips, the first in English, the second in French.
